The Oaks Legacy Vault: preserving more than wealth.
No cost to ask · No obligation · Nothing to download
One
Money gets transferred.
Wisdom gets lost.
Families inherit assets. They rarely inherit the thinking that built them: the judgment, the stories, the reasons behind the decisions. Most estate plans preserve money. The Legacy Vault preserves the person behind it.
Two
What would your family miss most?
The paperwork
- Estate documents
- Financial statements
- Investment reports
- Trust paperwork
The person
- Family photographs
- Recorded stories
- Personal letters
- Family traditions
Not your balance sheet. Your voice.
What if they could still ask you?
- “What mattered most to you?”
- “What advice would you give us?”
- “What do you hope we remember?”
- “How did you make life’s biggest decisions?”
The Legacy Vault preserves guidance in your own words.
Built through conversation, not another form to fill in.
Three
Captured naturally. Confirmed carefully.
- 01
Captured in conversation
Your values, hopes, stories, and lessons are gathered through the relationship you already have with your advisor. Nothing extra is asked of you.
- 02
Reviewed for accuracy
Your advisor confirms every detail before it becomes part of the record, ensuring what is preserved is accurate and authentically yours.
- 03
Preserved as record
Organized and safeguarded, it waits quietly until the time comes, ready for your family, exactly as you intended.
Built by relationship, not software. Not another app. Not another password.
Wondering what this would look like for your family?

Five
A story that continues.
When a family member you’ve chosen becomes a client of Oaks, they’re invited to begin their own Vault, continuing what you started rather than starting from nothing. You wrote the first chapter. They write the next.
It isn’t finished when yours is. It’s just getting started.
Six
Is the Vault for you?
It isn’t for everyone, and we’d rather say so plainly than have you find out later.
It tends to fit when
- You have people who would want to hear from you: a partner, children, grandchildren, close friends, or the family you've chosen.
- You’ve done the estate work, and it still feels like something is missing.
- You’d struggle to write it all down, but you could talk about it.
- You’d rather your family inherit your judgment, not just your accounts.
It’s probably not what you want if
- You want a legal document. This preserves meaning, not instructions with legal force.
- You’re looking for software to manage yourself. There is no app and no login.
Seven
Chosen to fit each family.
A service, not another app, available at the tier that suits you.
Tier one
Foundations
One guided conversation with your advisor, reviewed and confirmed, shared with your estate attorney. The people you choose can reach out with questions and receive answers grounded in what you actually said.
Tier two
Interactive Vault
Everything in Foundations, and then it comes alive. Your recorded voice, not just a summary, held in a private space your family can return to anytime, not just once.
Tier three
Family Legacy System
Everything in the Interactive Vault, at full depth for the whole family story, with more than one voice captured, not just yours. An annual session keeps it current, and we coordinate directly with your estate attorney.
Every family’s Vault is shaped around what matters to them. Which tier fits your family, and the investment involved, are part of that first conversation, no guessing, no obligation.
Talk it through with usEight
What happens when you ask.
Asking about the Vault commits you to nothing. Here is the whole of it.
- 01
You raise your hand
A call, or a note through the form. No commitment, and no cost to ask.
- 02
We talk it through
What the Vault preserves, which tier fits your family, and what it would look like for you. From home: there is no office to visit.
- 03
It begins quietly
If it’s right, it starts inside the advisor conversations you already have. If it isn’t, we’ll say so.
Nine
Questions families ask
- Is this just another estate planning document?
- No. Estate planning distributes assets. The Legacy Vault preserves your voice, values, and legacy. The two work side by side: your estate plan tells your family what they receive, and the Vault tells them who it came from, and why.
- Can my family hear my actual voice?
- Yes. Preserving voice recordings is one of the most meaningful parts of the Vault.
- What kinds of things would I share?
- Stories, life lessons, values, family history, wishes, and personal guidance. The questions families most wish they could still ask: what mattered most to you, what advice you would give, how you made the big decisions.
- Do I need to learn new technology?
- No. The service develops naturally through conversation and guidance. There is no app to download and no password to remember.
- How much work is it for me?
- Almost none, and that is by design. The Vault is built through the conversations you already have with your advisor, not through forms or homework. You talk. We capture, confirm, and preserve.
- What is the difference between the three tiers?
- Foundations preserves your confirmed wishes and guidance, with your family able to reach out with questions from day one. The Interactive Vault adds your own recorded voice, held in a private space they can return to anytime. The Family Legacy System goes further still, capturing more than one voice, not just yours, with an annual session to keep it current. Choosing between them is exactly what the first conversation is for.
- What does the Legacy Vault cost?
- It depends on the tier your family chooses, and asking costs nothing. We share pricing plainly in that first conversation, before any commitment, so you can decide with everything in front of you.
- Who can see what I preserve?
- Only the people you choose, and no one else. The Vault is protected to the standards used for sensitive financial and legal records, and a personal verification step beyond email confirms who is entering.
- When does my family receive it?
- When the time comes. Until then it waits quietly, organized and safeguarded, and your family will know exactly where to turn, who to contact, and where everything is held.
- Can I add to it over time?
- Yes. Because the Vault grows through your ongoing advisor conversations, it deepens naturally over the years rather than being finished in one sitting. Your story keeps being told, and the Vault keeps listening.
- Do I have to be an Oaks client?
- No. The Vault stands on its own. That said, it does pair naturally with planning, so if you’re not a client yet, it can be a comfortable first conversation to have with us.
- Why is Oaks offering this?
- Because families deserve a way to preserve what matters most, not only wealth, but meaning. We have spent decades helping families transfer money. The Vault exists because of what we watched get lost along the way.
We spend our lives building wealth.
The Legacy Vault helps preserve meaning.
A product people ask us for, not one we push. There is no cost to ask, and no obligation of any kind.
