Virtual financial planning, for families in every state
You don't need a local financial advisor. Every Oaks meeting happens by video, so we work with families in every state, and you can book the first conversation online today. What matters isn't the distance to our office. It's that the person across the screen is a fiduciary, teaches before they plan, and actually has time for you.
Do I need a local financial advisor?
No. "Local" used to buy you two things: a handshake and a short drive. Neither one changes the quality of the plan. What you actually need is someone who is legally required to put your interests first, who explains a recommendation before making it, and who has room on the calendar when something in your life changes. All three travel over a video link just fine.
The one honest reason to insist on local is that you want to sit in an office. We don't keep one. There is no office to walk into, for anyone: every client gets the same advisor, the same plan, and the same attention from their own kitchen table.
Which states do you work in?
Anyone in the United States. Every meeting is by video, so where you live makes no difference to the plan you get. Just tell us where you are and we take it from there.
How a virtual meeting actually works
- You get a video link by email and join from wherever you are comfortable, on a computer, a tablet, or a phone.
- We share the screen, so you see exactly what we see: your numbers, the plan, the trade-offs, in plain language.
- Nothing to print, nothing to mail. Anything we need from you, we tell you how to share it securely before the meeting.
- Times that fit around work and family, not around an office's hours. We have worked this way for over a decade.
How soon can we talk?
Book a time directly on our calendar, or call. The first conversation is free, by video, and there is nothing to buy and no obligation. If you would rather start with a question than a meeting, the contact form reaches a person, not a queue.
What the first conversation is
We mostly listen. You tell us what is on your mind, we help you understand where you actually stand, and you leave with something useful whether or not we ever talk again. We teach first and plan second, which is why the guide library and the tools are free: they are the same education, just without the conversation.
Not sure which side of the practice fits you? Building Wealth is for people still earning and growing. Planning Retirement is for people turning decades of saving into predictable, tax-efficient income. Either way, the first step is the same call.
Ready when you are.
No office to walk into. Just meet us from home, from any state.
